Live Review: SteLouse Guest Mix For Purple Sneakers On FBi Click

1 September 2015 | 12:39 pm | Hannah Galvin

US future bass producer, SteLouse has compiled this loud and plentiful mix for our Purple Sneakers show on FBi Click!

Picking the pockets of our favourite international artists, we've been on quite a lucky striek in securing the time and efforts of some of the globes most prolific musicians for our Purple Sneakers show on FBi Click. Where previous weeks has granted us the attention of LOUISAHHH!!! & MaelstromThe Juan Maclean and Chordashian, our current episode features none other than STELOUSE.

Pronounced Stay Loose, the American producer puts into practice a super emotive version of future bass, as his music comes from a pretty personal place, readily available to be shared with the world. Blending an assortment of rich and blossoming styles and textures, his palette is diverse, and has the capacity to stick with you emotionally.

A master of remixing within a ridiculous timeframe, SteLouse has fiddled with works by RozesPacesHudson Mohawke and Doja Cat, as well as released two EPs (the second, The City, released through Australian label DIEHIGH), and has announced the current workings of his debut record.

To thicken the workload, he's also launched his own collective, Hebinomichi, as well as signing to US booking agency APA; all before his Australasian tour that is due to kick off in the Sunshine Coast this November.

Evidently already awake for most hours of the night, SteLouse generously took the time to compile this hectic body of work for our radio show. Loud, full and impressively mixed, it features a couple of his own tracks, some of those aforementioned remixes and a bunch of other tunes he's digging from all around the world. Give it a rinse!
