Tasmanian producer AKOUO has graced us with his track 'Not Enough' which consists of breathy vocals, deep synth tones, and mysterious bass lines.

The tune is beautiful and scary at the same time. The layered percussion rings of a tribal tone and provides a luscious backbone to the track. You can sniff at hints of James Vincent Mcmorrow and the grittiness of James Blake influences the tone of 'Not Enough' in just the right way.

This is a track for those of us who are genre junkies. Not because it particularly fits any one genre, but it dips a toe in all. With elements of soul, funk, and techno- this track is like the first sip of red wine after a long day.

Keep your eye out for Akouo for we are sure you will be hearing much more from him very soon. In the mean time be sure to catch him on his national tour supporting SAFIA and pop June 12 into your diaries. His EP 'Mesa' is due out then through DIEHIGH Records.
