Live Review: Paces ‘Bamboo’
PACES is his name, and he’s crafted a new EP called ‘Hold It Down’ (out through etcetc), and ‘Bamboo’ is the second single he’s given us.
He’s the swaglord the dance scene in Australia needed, and when the time came, he delivered.
When he’s not producing, he’s busy munching doritos, swigging mountain dew and creating some of the best tropical beats on the east coast.
PACES is his name, and he’s got a pretty sick repertoire when it comes to the music that he’s made. He’s crafted a new EP called Hold It Down (out through etcetc), and ‘Bamboo’ is the second single he’s given us. To add to all of this, he’s set to go on tour real soon too.

It’s packed full of bright beats, fringed with a sunny demeanour and is more than dancefloor friendly. As per usual, it’s got that classic Paces feel that only he can bring to the table. The beat however, is what stands out most. It’s light, fun and brings a jaunty vibe to this lighthearted banger.
Paces knows what’s up, and his sounds further prove that he’s not only prepared to be fun, but he’s prepared to be innovative too.
