Live Review: Jacques Greene '1 4 ME' (Official Video)
Jacques Greene has a lot of new stuff for us.
JACQUES GREENE has released a brand new track, a brand new music video and has a new EP ready for release. There's a lot of new stuff coming our way.
The producer has been hard at work experimenting and playing around with new sounds to see what kind of new sound combinations he can come up with. GREENE said on his youtube channel that, "these tracks were born out of experimenting with a bit of self-imposed restraints." His new EP is the result of these restraints being brought to light and stretched out to be moulded into something GREENE knew he wouldn't be afraid to share.
His latest single '1 4 ME' was born from GREENE's personal challenge of keeping a song dead simple. He successfully kept '14 ME' simple but it still sounds ethereal and lush despite it's simple composition. A soft beat bounces behind the simmering synths and a distorted vocal becomes indecipherable as it moves its way through the melody.

The music video features a boy wandering around a pool in his workout gear. He circles the pool playing with both the water and his sneakers before finally deciding to walk into the pool, with his sneakers still on. After watching the full video you can't help but think about how experimentation fits into everything. JACQUES GREENE experimented with new music and came up with his new EP and in the video, it looks like the guy is experimenting with his sneakers and the pool water; just seeing what happens when the sneakers are in the water.
GREENE's new EP After Life, After Party will be released on November 11 and hopefully more interesting music videos follow.
