Live Review: Jacques Greene 'Night Tracking' (Official Video)

16 May 2014 | 5:25 pm | Lauren Payne

Jacques Greene has a mesmerising new music video for his equally mesmerising track 'Night Tracking'.

With the release of his Phantom Vibrate EP, JACQUES GREENE has just been delivering great tracks over and over again.

The entire EP is full of smooth electronic tracks that are perfect driving music or just great to get lost in after a long day and this new music video for his track 'Night Tracking' is no exception. With a producer constantly releasing genuinely sweet material, you'd think he'd run out of ideas sooner or later but JACQUES GREENE just keeps on pushing through and pulling tracks out of nowhere that are infectious and inviting.

'Night Tracking' has the same late night mystique that the rest of the tracks on Phantom Vibrate have with the added extra of squished samples and synths that sound out of this world. The track opens with some wonderful percussion before introducing some very warm and spacious synths into the mix to pave the way for the melody that soon follows. The melody is full of humming synths of different pitches that sound like a intergalactic piano riff, its magical and gives off the feeling of liberation or just endless possibility.

A music video does accompany the track and the video is equally as inventive as the track. The music clip is based on a film called C’était un rendez-vous and comprises of clips of a car driving around Stockholm during the night. Although the music clip seems quite simple, it seems to partner the track extremely well with both working hand in hand to convey a certain vibe to viewers. JACQUES GREENE knows how to catch people's attention and he's definitely caught ours with this clip and track combo.

JACQUES GREENE is currently touring the United States and his Phantom Vibrate EP is available to grab now through all of your usual outlets, so listen and escape.
