Live Review: SOUNDCLOUD WRAP: Set Mo

The past 12 months have been heavy for Sydney house production duo SET MO. Following the release of their own tracks 'Still Waters' and 'Keep On', which features the lush vocals of ERIN MARSHALL, they've been picked to support high profile international DJs such as AEROPLANE and MK. They've also managed to find time to deliver some killer remixes for acts like THIEF and GINGER AND THE GHOST.

This Sunday in Sydney at the very intimate Ching-a-Lings, SET MO will headline a new event called Up Close and Personal which will also feature beat maker KLUE (who just finished supporting JURASSIC 5 with his band TRUE VIBENATION), as well as an 'Artist to Watch in 2014' alumni of ours, SPOONTY.

As apart of our ongoing 'SoundCloud Wrap' series, we thought we'd hit up SET MO to share with us some of the tunes they've had on repeat lately. Take it away fellas!

ARTFUL & RIDNEY Ft. TERRI WALKER 'Missing You' (RIDNEY Re-work)

"We distinctly remember Lovebirds opening a set with this and it instantly set the tone for a great set. It’s one of those tracks that will always bring back that memory."

CAJMERE 'Brighter Days' (CASSIAN Re-work)

"Huge re-work of an old classic. Destroys dance floors in all the right ways. This is what the modern day banger is/should be!"

MIGUEL MIGS 'Everybody' Ft. EVELYN CHAMPAGNE KING

"Awesome warm up tune. So funky and upbeat while leaving you wanting more. Oh and there’s the slick vocal from disco diva Evelyn Champagne King!"

CRAZY P 'Stop Space Return' (HOT TODDY Mix)

"We’re huge fans of everything Crazy P and this is another one that has been getting played by us for years. Amazing production, musicality and arrangement. You just can’t fault this track in anyway."

BEN WESTBEECH 'Something For The Weekend' (JOEY NEGRO Z Mix)

"Ben Westbeech is one talented dude. He has an amazing singing voice and this track proves it. Then the veteran Joey Negro gives it a fun upbeat re-work. Daytime house!"

NAME ONE & MAXXI SOUNDSYSTEM 'One In Three'

"New one on Defected is a beautiful balance of deep and funky."

HERCULES AND LOVE AFFAIR 'Do You Feel The Same?'

"New one from Hercules And Love Affair has got us very excited for the album due out later this year. Got to love a sneaky little 303 bass line."
