Two artists that hardly require an introduction, Nina Las Vegas and Swick have teamed up once again to deliver some seriously bassy goodness with a new EP.

NINA LAS VEGAS and SWICK are two Australian artists that hardly need an introduction. Both well-respected and much-loved artists in their own right, they've certainly made a name for themselves across the country and around the world. It's really no wonder at all that the result of the pair teaming up is nothing short of huge.

Dropping an EP titled Cool Sports, things get really heavy really quickly over only three tracks. A word of warning, don't listen to this if you've got a lot of stuff to do, as your priorities will change immediately from what you're currently doing... to getting low to these. Basically an exercise in trying to create the perfect bang0r, Nina Las Vegas and Swick have somehow managed to put the term "go hard or go home" into song form (all three of them).

Starting off with the title track, 'Cool Sports' instantly turns your surroundings into a dark and dingy club, right where these songs belong. Oscillating waves of synths and hard hitting beats get things moving, before the downright nasty breakdown. Synths sound like sirens as the bass goes into overdrive, taking cues from the likes of the PC Music crew with their whirrs and big room beats.

Refusing to let go, second track 'Birthday' comes into play in all it's banger glory. Skittering synths, warped, almost robotic like vocal samples and bass that nears breaking point, they continue to push harder as the track works it's way along. The track reaches fever pitch at 2:25, with an almighty crescendo before quickly fizzing out into 'Pool Girls'.

This third and final track is (thankfully) slightly calmer, with synth melodies shifting into focus briefly before the bass once again kicks in. Just as hard hitting, but easily more accessible, 'Pool Girls' rounds things out very nicely indeed with its buzzsaw breakdowns, chipmunk vocal samples and synth chords that keep things a little lighter.

Released through taste-making giants Fools Gold RecordsCool Sports is out now. Listen at your own risk: things are about to get very wild.
