Live Review: Anna Lunoe ‘Say It Again' (Nina Las Vegas & Swick Remix)

10 March 2015 | 5:06 pm | Caitlin Medcalf

Nina Las Vegas and Swick are back with their incredibly dark, bassy take on Anna Lunoe's 2014 single 'Say It Again'.

Two greats taking on one of the biggest new acts of 2014 is something to be reckoned with. It’s not an easy task, taking on a number that’s already seen such high critical acclaim, but it’s been done to an incredible degree.

ANNA LUNOE hasn’t been slowing down since her ascent to the top. She’s released some killer originals and remixes and teamed up with the likes of SLEEPY TOM and TOTALLY ENORMOUS EXTINCT DINOSAURS.

The Aussie born songstress made her 2014 international debut at Coachella, later serving up the goods at Lollapalooza. She put out ‘Say It Again’ in that same year, and now it’s been given a good dose of NINA LAS VEGAS and SWICK loving.

The two came together last year for an epic collab EP, and their relationship as artists has since blossomed from there. The two have come back together for their dark and dank take on ANNA’s ‘Say It Again’.

It’s incredibly bassy, one that would sit well at 10pm or 3am. But more than anything I have to say, is that it shows the diversity of the two artists, one that’s reflected moreso in their collaboration.

The synths lay low in this, but I think it’s the vibe from this that truly captures just how epic it really is.

NLV and SWICK once again prove that they’re two incredibly like-minded musicians. Not only in their production skills, but also in the way that they approach their music.
