The title track from Crooked Colours EP 'In Your Bones' is a minimalistic dream, delicately emblazoned with soft percussion and a refreshing quirkiness.

The Perth trio known as CROOKED COLOURS have been hard at work over the past year, with their recent EP ‘In Your Bones’ being set for release through local dance label SWEAT IT OUT MUSIC on the 9th of May.

Following up from their successes on their 'Come Down' single tour, the latest release from the EP follows suit with the individualistic, minimalist sound CROOKED COLOURS have already achieved. The track is delicately emblazoned with soft percussion and the quirkiness that sets the band apart.

The track travels in segments too, opening with a melodic riff from the keys, and then settling neatly into the cusp of the chilling vocals. This progresses smoothly, until the waves of the synths are introduced, and then paired with the intensity of the bass and the underlying melodic progression.

This really is a fantastic track, and is definitely an indicator of the direction that the EP itself is heading in. ‘In Your Bones’ is refreshing, quirky and most definitely out of the ordinary.
