BLOOM V: The Ripe's 2nd Birthday Party

16 January 2014 | 2:33 pm | Nick Luke

THE RIPE's second birthday party is coming up, and you're invited! Get the lowdown on the bash right here.

As the legend goes: Two years ago, a flock of mates banded together under the common goal to get into the music industry to score free CD's and tix to gigs.

These dudes called themselves THE RIPE. Fast forward to today, and some could say that these guys have succeeded in their goal, and then some. So much so that they are preparing their second b'day bash, and it's shaping up to be a heckuva doosey (a good one).

On the night of March 1st, Brown Alley in Melbs will be opening its doors to THE RIPE crew to host a birthday party that will be chock full of drinks, dancing, sexy music, and good old fashioned party times.

And when I say sexy music, boy do I mean it. On the lineup for the night huge acts such as GOLD FIELDS, SAMPOLOGY and WILLOW BEATS will be headlining, with a whole bunch of exciting up and coming Aussie producers and artists like CROOKED COLOURS, SABLE, BASENJI and AIRWOLF holding down the supports slots to keep the birthday party vibes flowing all throughout the night.

With such an unbelievable line up prepared for the night, it's hard to understand how tickets are so cheap. Seriously, you'll only have to fork out a mere $20 for presale tickets, and 25 bucks if you're forgetful and have to buy entry at the door - although, no promises there, as it looks like this baby'll sell out very, very soon.

So, what're you doing sitting around reading this for? Get a wriggle on and go grab your tix via moshtix here for THE RIPE's 2nd B'day Party feat. GOLD FIELDS, SAMPOLOGY, WILLOW BEATS, and more before they sell out and you're left high and dry.

As elegantly written on the Facebook event for the party, in the words of Guy Sebastian, "It's been a long and winding journey - But I'm finally here tonight”.
