Made up of seven tracks, this EP from Acid Washed features remixes from Blackstrobe, Turzi, King Of Kong, Gavin Russom and Alan Gay.

Made up of seven tracks, this EP from ACID WASHED features remixes from BLACKSTROBE, TURZI, KING OF KONG, GAVIN RUSSOM, and ALAN GAYThe 42-minute journey will take you on a magic carpet of deep house and techno.

The original 'General Motors, Detroit, America' from the duo is a travelling epic. Bold, galactic synths make this track shimmer, mixed with seething vocal work and clapping percussion, creating a similar sound to French producer, ANORAAK.

The BLACKSTROBE remix takes the tune and spins it into a funk odyssey, with a grander emphasis on the bass, turning the track into a dance floor anthem. TURZI's remix keeps the scatting beat but turns the vibes down, creating an almost intergalactic atmosphere. KING OF KONG's 'Hell of Paradise' remix is shrill and shrouded in disco, making this remix the most zany of the three.

We then revert back to Acid Washed with 'Snake', featuring BARBARA PANTHER. This has island themed vocals, sassy and strong. The techno beats are loud and combined with the heavy bass, this tune could almost fall into the Hip-Hop genre as well. The clashing of instruments make for a chaotic yet charming track.

Gavin Russom remixes 'Snake' in a way that upon hearing the original, you would not expect. The tune is taken down quite a few notches and turned into the ultimate chill out session only to explode into a raucous party.

Finally, Alan Gay weighs in with a skittish mix of this track. You can almost picture yourself a few years ago sweating it out on the dancefloor to this remix, just like you used to in the FAKE BLOOD days, or maybe that's just me.
