Live Review: Lucianblomkamp 'Comfort'

He's been a bit quiet for a while, but aside from a few festival dates here and there, we know that LUCIANBLOMKAMP has been a busy guy behind the scenes.

After the release of his long release Post-Nature in 2014, the multi-talented producer has put his skills to incredible stress and come out on top with his stunning new one, 'Comfort'.

It's a haunting number, accentuated by the total numbing nature of the beat that almost echoes through this. It's almost like throwing a pebble into water; that abrupt contrast in shade, tone and sound. It's almost sinister too, but Lucian's got a way with music that it comes out sounding sleek and definitely intentional.

Lucian's tendency to create music that not only sounds beautiful, but feels beautiful and emotionally tact is something not all artists are capable of grasping.

'Comfort' is a new direction for Lucian; a stronger one, filled with impacting lyrics, lasting themes and an infinite number of imagery that regenerates with each passing second.
