When you click play on TRIPLE ONE's 'Showoff', you might not know why you're feeling so involved - but it's inevitable, and there's no need to question it.

It's pretty hard to deny a star when you see one. On top of that, it's even harder not to get sucked in when that star's energy is so vibrant, so powerful and so infectious. So, when you click play on TRIPLE ONE's video for 'Showoff', you might not know why you're feeling so involved - but it's inevitable, and there's no need to question it.

'Showoff' as a track is quintessential Triple One - the raps are hard, the hooks are catchy and the beat is relentless. It's rowdy the entire way through, and each member of the collective's flow rival one another bar for bar. But the video elevates it to a completely different level.

The video for 'Showoff' takes the family feeling that local hip-hop has right now and puts it centre stage. Set in high school, with typical high school antics, Triple One have recruited a whole slew of local up and comers - Turquoise Prince, Chillinit, Talakai etc. - to join them on one of the most fun videos we've seen in months.

Of the video, the group said in a statement that "The Australian hip-hop scene is crazy right now, we wanted to unite some of our favourite artists to replicate our own high school days."

"That, and we wanted to wear school uniforms again."
