28 May 2016 | 11:00 am | Madeline Kilby

Aussie AIRWOLF has added a housey edge to Cypress Hill's 'Insane In The Membrane' and catapulted it straight from 1993 to 2016.

If you have made it through life with no knowledge of the Cypress Hill track ‘Insane In The Membrane’ then you have lived a sheltered existence. Don’t you worry your precious electronic/house loving ears though, Aussie AIRWOLF has added a housey edge to it and catapulted it straight from 1993 to 2016.

Airwolf has been making a pretty large name for himself of late. He’s collaborated with JOY, remixed for legends such as Luke Million and Young Franco and now taken a cult hit and delivered it to a whole new generation of dance floor lovers.

In true Airwolf and house styles, this remix of ‘Insane In The Membrane’ is filled with builds, suspension, deep and dark percussion and loops of the original track, transporting a previously hip hop track into the reals of G-House, paying homage to it’s ghetto hip hop roots.
