Live Review: Shura gets her skates on for the CANVAS remix of 'Touch'

The magnificent SHURA is back with a new video, this time for the CANVAS remix of 'Touch.'

Shura has a history of making cool videos, but 'Touch' is where it all began. For the first version of the song Shura created the video herself in which she convinced her friends to kiss on camera (we don't know whether this was a genius way to get friends in denial to get a move on or not, but either way it was a perfect representation of the awkwardness of friendship post-breakup.)

For the re-release of the song featuring TALIB KWELI she created an entire video animated in the drawing style we had seen her use for the cover art of '2Shy,' 'White Light' and 'Indecision.' For the CANVAS remix of 'Touch' she's come out with a skate video that features her skating, of this she had this to say;

"...a year ago I made a new years resolution that meant adding something to my life rather than restricting something. I've always wanted to be able to skate but I couldn't even stand on a board let alone move forwards. A few of my mates knew how to skate and so that year I just thought screw it. I'm gonna learn and that was it. I'm still learning but I think it's important to just teach yourself stuff even if you suck at first, especially as you grow up. I wouldn't be producing my own music if it wasn't for just trying it. Skateculture and music are so intertwined so it [the video] just felt super natural to do"
