The art of creation stretches from floaty electro-pop to the visual for Swedish band HUMFREE BUG ART. Here's the premiere to their latest track ‘Eyesknees’.

The art of creation stretches from floaty electro-pop music to the visual for Swedish band HUMFREE BUG ART.

The band puts forth a very important question, but also one that describes exactly what they do “how can a band create an aural and visual, mind-altering and colourful experience that effortlessly tantalises your senses and quite frankly; makes it impossible to stand still?”. The answer is their latest track ‘Eyeknees’.

The members of Humfree Bug Art all come from small regional towns in Sweden, and in various shapes and forms, music has always been a big part of their lives. Setting out to create a journey through music, Humfree Bug Art imitate life with art, and ‘Eyeknees’ is a remedy of sorts to a journey the band had been on.

For various reasons Humfree Bug Art were in a state of argument and turmoil, tensions from personal lives nearly lead to the ultimate demise of the band. ‘Eyeknees’ describes the whole situation and ultimate journey the band has gone through. While the sound is funky and upbeat, there is something melancholy about the lyrics contrasted with dramatic percussion and urgent chords.

‘Eyeknees’ is the first release from the upcoming LP, Nothin/Sumthin, the recording of which became the band's healing process, and is the launching pad for the next phase of Humfree Bug Art.
