It's not surprising that a band named after one of the most infamous tragic romances of all time, ANTONY & CLEOPATRA, would create something as poignant and sad as 'Love Is A Lonely Dancer.' What is surprising is that, in their remix of the song, LOW STEPPA managed to turn that sadness into a straight up banger.

'Love Is A Lonely Dancer' always had a punchy bassline and the contrast between the bass and the wistful, melancholy lyrics was one of it's greatest strengths. Low Steppa recognised that immediately and their remix utilises both these aspects of the song whilst adding a layer of building electronica to bring the song to new dynamic heights and take it from a song with a good beat to a late night banger. The result is a soaring piece, which commands the listener to get up and dance.

We've all got that friend that thinks they're far too cool to dance and you wonder why they came at all. This is one of those songs that teaches those lovable assholes that nobody is too cool to dance and gets them in the middle of the dance floor (or to the side, it really depends how often you plan to be at the bar.) So find yourself some space and give this one a listen because I guarantee you'll be compelled to dance a minute in.

We also want to take a second to mention how great the original is too, as aforementioned, there's a lot of emotion in the track, but also managing a mix of accessible club grooves that perfectly compliment the hooky radio elements is a true achievement in itself!
