South London producing duo JUMPSWIM have roped in old mate Ninna Lundberg for another fantastically soulful collaboration. ‘Fall Out Of Love’ is an authentic, peaceful and ever so easy listen.

Ninna’s original folk version of ‘Do For Love’ (itself a cover of Bobby Caldwell’s classic ‘What You Won’t Do For Love’) was the first JUMPSWIM/Ninna hook up, and they’ve come together again to create the counterpart, ‘Fall Out Of Love’. Again, showing off her fragile vocal style, the song feels faintly reminiscent of the likes of Birdy or Låpsley.

Recorded between Copenhagen and London, it’s got a low-fi, glitch feel to it with delicious percussion sprinkled over the faintly dubby soft jam. The JUMPSWIM production is retro and wholesome, the vocals are gritty yet soothing. There’s a midway break which succumbs to silence, but it picks up again with clicks and strings. It’s an intriguing and gentle song that will have you listening back a few times to try and figure it out. JUMPSWIM and Ninna have plans to release more singles together in the future, which is fine by us.
