Live Review: Jarreau Vandal 'Your Highness' Ft. Monte Booker

Hailing from Maastricht in the Netherlands sits JARREAU VANDAL - an electronic artist who is well committed to layering lush synths and introducing new textures. With the help of MONTE BOOKER, he's put this into practice with their collaborative track, 'Your Highness'.

Infused with a gentle crackle, 'Your Highness' soars directly above a blanket of smog, allowing the tune a bit of an attitude. Compiling rigid synths and metallic melodies, a wad of tampered sonics harmonise with the emotive vocal pattern.

Lifted by the idiosyncratic percussion and sampling, as well as the various beats offering slaps, zips and hollow hits, Jarreau Vandal's, 'Your Highness' evokes feeling within its short existence, and is spiritually nurtured by a habit of taking unexpected turns.
