The arresting and continuously impressing Night Slugs signee, JAM CITY has released another track from his forthcoming album Dream A Garden.

Jack Lathlam is nothing short of unique. With his metallic synths, structural atmospherics and breakbeat bass lines he has flipped the global club music scene on its head and asserted himself as an avant-garde producer creating power pop that evokes both the elegant and the violent. As anticipation for Jam City's new upcoming LP gains traction, it seems the club-crushing musician is moving towards more spacious, alt-pop terrain.

With new release single ‘Today’, we hear a vivid blend of retro-funk and alternative-pop using an off-beat tempo, psychedelic keys, 80's reverb and some of that weighty 'MAGIC DROPS' bass. Thrown into the mix is an addition of Lathlams' ethereal vocals, and teamed with the track comes some poetic words.

"Outside, beyond the screens, sticky and beautiful, undecided, dry grass is ready to burn. Our dreams are self-medicating; their dreams are boring. Who can afford them anyway?"
