Live Review: Simion 'Give You Love' (The Piano)'

18 February 2015 | 2:12 pm | Emma Jones

German producer Simion is back with his latest track, 'Give You Love (The Piano)': an all out infectious classic house jam with touches of deeper house.

After the success of his Lost In Deep EP, German producer SIMION is back with another track destined for dance-floors! Titled Give You Love (The Piano)SIMION has served up a six-minute house jam at it's most infectious.

From his Lost In Deep EP to his OFF Recordings release of a double A-side of Warning/Jack Your Body and Don't U, SIMION also remixed BEN PEARCE's What I Might Do and is the main man at Hedonism Music - with a portfolio like this, it's hard to believe he is only clocking in less than 2000 SoundCloud followers.

Whilst Lost In Deep saw the producer touching on some deeper elements, this latest track sees him reverting back to classic house music - yet still not completely leaving the deeper side. Crisp beats play over a pulsating bassline, as vocal samples interject the earworm. Add to this some different female vocals at different pitches which creates a slightly more playful side to the track over the impossibly catching piano chords, and it's evident SIMION not only knows what he's doing, but does it really well!

Alongside the original track, SIMION officially released two other remixes of the track. Recruiting NINETOES and DARIO D'ATTIS, these remixes see both the producers putting their own spin on things. Where the NINETOES rework goes further into Tech House, and takes it underground, the D'ATTIS remix follows a similar route with Tech House stylings, but loads up on bass and piano melodies.

You can get the Give You Love (The Piano) EP now on SIMION's beatport, and watch this space for more things to come from the obviously skilled producer!
