One of our Artists to Watch for 2015, Hatch, puts his future spin on classic Tracy Chapman song 'Fast Cars'.

One of our Artists To Watch for 2015, Hatch has thrown a classic song into his realms of future r'n'b to create a revamped version that is much more enjoyable.

Substituting Chapman's vocals for his own, Hatch has managed to still capture the sad, yet optimistic, themes of the song (retitled A Ticket To Anywhere). He has also, however, amped it up with hip hop beats, loaded it with bass and glitched it out with a plethora of samples.

His drum work here is unrivaled, as is his surprisingly beautiful singing voice. It's an unexpected but welcome addition to Hatch's catalogue, and really shows off his production work.

It's Hatch's meticulous production efforts that make this track, and his previous releases standout. At a time where Australian dance music has never been stronger, it is becoming increasingly harder for artists to be unique and to do something different. Hatch manages this time and time again, proving he isn't just a flash in the pan.

Hatch came to be one of our Artists to Watch last year after his efforts last year, releasing What You Need and New Direction. He also supported GIRAFFAGE and is locked into play at Mountain Sounds FestivalHatch continues to be one to watch, especially if he can make a classic guitar song sound this good!
