Melbourne producer SWEETLAND has taken JOY's track 'Captured' under his wing and pumped a new breed of sound into it.

17 year old Brisbane based songstress JOY has had quite the whirlwind year. Bursting onto the scene and into our ears with her track ‘Captured’, it was the whimsical nature of her perfectly executed vocals and even more so, stunning production that drew us in.

She’s gone on to do some incredible things this year, and most recently, featured on PEKING DUK’s Like A Version covering KYLIE MINOGUE. ‘Captured’ features a stunning harmony of delightful guitar rhythms, an incredibly profound production line and an even more stunning vocal performance by the Brisbane wonder.

It’s the airy atmosphere and the mature complexities of this track that make it so memorable. Melbourne producer SWEETLAND has taken the track under his wing and pumped a new breed of sound into it.

Quickening the pace and putting a bigger focus on the production side of the track, SWEETLAND has diverted the mood of the track to one that feels night time-y; one to accompany your way home from a big night out.

It’s a slow burner, but its delivery is one that’s well worth the wait. Anticipated well, the mood created in the sound has really been produced so well by SWEETLAND, and it’s a real credit to him to take this track on in the way that he has.
