Live Review: Hoodboi 'Bug-A-Boo'

DJ HOODBOI has been on our radars for a while and with good reason. The American producer has been releasing some great tracks of late including a remix to our very own ALISON WONDERLAND's latest original 'I Want You'.

Only a few weeks ago, he began touring with A-TRAK, and the friendship has now led to something brilliant. DJ HOODBOI is now apart of Fool's Gold Recordings! Yep, you heard right, HOODBOI is now featured on the long lineup of artists alongside BLACK ATLASS, CHROMEO, ONRA and so many more.

The signature vocal track of BEYONCE and her fellow DESTINY'S CHILD songstresses have been transformed into high-pitched veils of sound that soar over the now futuristic melody that the producer has created. The sound is a blend of your favourite arcade game and tropical goodness. The twinkling synths work together with a light beat to create a very bright sound and 'Bug-A-Boo' really becomes a sweet electronic rainbow of sound.

DJ HOODBOI is beginning his Fool's Gold journey with a brand new EP due out later this year, so his remix of 'Bug-A-Boo' should keep us occupied until then but if new remixes emerge, of course we can't ignore them.
