Live Review: LISTEN: Alunageorge 'Outlines' (Danny T Rework)

ALUNAGEORGE are getting the remix treatment from so many artists recently. KAYTRANADA has tweaked their track 'Kaleidoscope Love' and now Sweat It Out! signing DANNY T has had a crack at reworking 'Outlines'.
'Outlines' is one of the slower tracks on ALUNAGEORGE's debut album Bodymusic and DANNY T has flipped it on it's head and brought in a few house elements to turn the track up.
The original mix of 'Outlines' has a very slow, yet solid beat that sails on through some very silky synths that tend brood below Aluna Francis' vocals. It's a quiet ballad that opens the album, with a deep sound making you feel like you're sitting at the bottom of a pool and watching the world above.
DANNY T is a bright spark that definitely has an energetic theme that runs throughout his production work. It's no surprise that he's placed his spark into 'Outlines' and made it a wonderful club hit that uses a few more vocal samples as well as Francis' original track. The new vocal track is a little more hard-hitting and in your face, perking up 'Outlines' and making it slightly more exciting.
