Live Review: LISTEN: Alunageorge 'Kaleidoscope Love' (Kaytranada Edition)

ALUNAGEORGE have been touring non-stop since the release of their debut album Body Music, including making an Australian appearance at the inaugural Listen Out festival last year. It's fair to say new material may still be a while away. 

KAYTRANADA has taken a liking to a few of the band's tracks recently and has chosen one to remix into a funky new tune for your senses to drink in.

The Canadian producer has released a series of great remixes over the past year including a great remix of DISCLOSURE's 'January', as well as some of his own original material 'At All' and 'Hilarity Duff' which definitely caught our attention. KAYTRANADA's new offering however, is pumping with heavy bass and sweet electronic licks and honestly, you won't have heard ALUNAGEORGE's track 'Kaleidoscope Love' like this before.

KAYTRANADA has reworked ALUNAGEORGE's upbeat track and added in a deep bass that thumps like a gentle giant's foot whilst Aluna Francis' high vocals dance atop various chopped synths. The new galloping tempo makes  'Kaleidoscope Love' more of a club tune that it's predecessor and although both are great to listen to, this remix is more fun to groove to.

KAYTRANADA will be performing at SXSW this year so keep an eye out for his 'Kaleidoscope Love' remix when he plays sets across the United States.
