Klaxons Announce Forthcoming Album & Release New Single 'There Is No Other Time'

It's been a long time since we've heard from the KLAXONS front. The English outfit released their second LP Surfing The Void back in 2010 and have been rather quiet ever since. Well, that was until they premiered their fresh single 'There Is No Other Time' on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show only a matter of hours ago!

Brushing off the dust mites, we're pleased to hear that the dudes have stuck to their roots with this one. With thanks to the helping hand of electronic duo Gorgan City, the new single bottles a myriad of sounds made up of razor-sharp synths, reverberated vocals, plunging samples and possibly even some cowbell. Fostering a headstrong beat to lead this adventurous pack, 'There Is No Other Time' is a journey we wish to take, making it a fantastic comeback single.

'There Is No Other Time' is not the only Klaxons news we can put our hands together for, as it's actually the leading single from the unit's forthcoming record. Although we haven't been given much detail on that just yet, we have been told to expect the work to include collaborations from Erol Alkan, James Murphy and Tom Rowlands of Chemical Brothers! The third album is due for release mid-2014 via Modular Recordings.

Klaxons' 'There Is No Other Time' is to be officially released in Australia on 21st March, 2014 through Modular Recordings.
