Filled with enchanting, breaking and unique dance acts, Wonderland Festival enters each new year with a magical party that everyone should definitely experience at least once.

With the tagline being ‘Up The Rabbit Hole’, you would be forgiven for thinking that the festival would feature Cheshire cats grinning at you from the treetops and mad twins telling you stories of oysters and walrus’. Unfortunately you won’t bump into these characters, however you will be treated to an event over in Western Australia which can be explained as simply “a boutique music festival for you to lose your shit at.”

On New Years Day 2014, Wonderland will be treating it’s audience to a wonderful host of talent that is emerging out of the depths of the dance scene to slowly take over your music libraries. With a full day of musical bliss coming your way, we’ve brought together a series of tracks that you should listen out for at Wonderland Festival this New Year’s Day.

WILLOW BEATS ‘Elemental’

Probably the most relaxing and magical track that you’ll probably hear this year, WILLOW BEATS have basically embodied Wonderland Festival in their mystical track ‘Elemental’. This track was huge when it was released and will no doubt be a hit when played on New Year’s Day.

WILLOW BEATS have a uniquely organic look and sound that will be very interesting to watch as they emerge in 2014.

INDIAN SUMMER ‘Foreign Formula’

INDIAN SUMMER had a wonderfully fun ride after the release of their track ‘Foreign Formula’. Triple J found the track lingering around the internet and gave it some love, a bunch of fellow electronic musicians gave it a remix including SINDENCOSMO’S MIDNIGHT and YOLANDA BE COOL.

No doubt the boys will be dropping ‘Foreign Formula’ for everyone out at Wonderland Festival this time around.

KITE STRING TANGLE ‘Given The Chance’

Chosen for Wonderland Festival‘s promotional video, THE KITE STRING TANGLE‘s  track ‘Given The Chance’ will definitely have a spin at the boutique festival this year. The Brisbane-based producer has a whole bunch of tracks to share with us all at Wonderland, but ‘Given The Chance’ is probably one of his best so definitely keep an ear out for it.

SABLE ‘Feels So Good’

The breakout track for this producer from Perth, ‘Feels So Good’ is not only SABLE‘s latest release, but it is also the first release from Pilerats‘ new record label that launched in early December.

SABLE will definitely be dropping this track into his Wonderland set, as well as a whole bunch of material that will still be awesome to listen too. This guys is going to be big in 2014 so you better catch him whilst he’s around because ‘Feels So Good’ has already pushed him to new heights.

SAMPOLOGY ‘Dancehall Queen’ ft. DJ Butcher & Beenie Man

SAMPOLOGY will be playing Wonderland Festival and after collaborating and touring with his mate DJ BUTCHER, ‘Dancehall Queen’ will definitely be making an appearance at Wonderland Festival this New Year.

The track was on repeat on RAGE and Triple J so it has already received so much love, and with SAMPOLOGY and DJ BUTCHER practically inseparable since its release earlier this year, it’ll be a track that you’ll have to keep an eye out for on Wonderland day.
