Kaiit shows her effortless cool on debut video clip and single release 'Natural Woman'

Sometimes, over all the noise something will jump out at you. KAIIT's 'Natural Woman' does exactly that. Jam-packed with soul and seemingly effortless cool, she shines on her new single and film clip.

'Natural Woman' for many, including myself, is their first introduction to Kaiit. Above all, her irresistibly smooth vocals will hook you. Her love and influence drawn from neo-soul and jazz are clear. Yet, there's more too it then that. Kaiit holds her own with raw talent and aesthetic to match. It's not surprising the video has been blowing up on Facebook.

There is an enduring positivity to the track. The thrill of first love, the validation your community brings to your life - this beautifully shot film clip reflects that same joy. Surrounded by her friends and family, she dances her way through familiar scenarios of the simple pleasures of life.

Born in New Guinea, KAIIT bounced back and forth between Australia and her homeland. Now, at home in Melbourne it's an exciting addition to the ever expanding talent bursting out of the city. To quote Nasty Mars, "The Melbourne music scene is slowly developing as this lovechild of jazz neo-soul hip hop and R&B". I couldn't agree more.
