Live Review: Jason Gaffner's serves up disco funk on 'Murder in the First Degree'

17 October 2016 | 12:10 pm | Lloyd Crackett

Less than a month after his piano driven ‘Feel Something’, Jason Gaffner is offering up another serve of disco funk with ‘Murder in the First Degree’.

Los Angeles artist, JASON GAFFNER is an unstoppable groove peddler. Less than a month after his piano driven ‘Feel Something’, Gaffner is now offering up another serve of clean and crisp disco funk with ‘Murder in the First Degree’.

Originally intended for a Young Franco instrumental, both artists decided the fit wasn’t just right and Jason Gaffner teamed up with friend Theo Grasset aka MATTANOLL to create this fun-loving track. Self-described by Gaffner as "if an outdoor dance party and a tongue–in-cheek crime noir had a delightful baby," "Murder in the First Degree" will become your head boppin’, foot tappin’ track of the week.

If these bass-laden grooves and electro funk vibes are anything to go by, Jason Gaffner’s forthcoming EP is going to be a playful disco hit.
