SQUIDGENINI is new to the game, and all you really need to care about is that she goes by the name Squidgenini and has made a jam of a track called ‘Fire’.

Vital details out of the way, the Melbourne living, Brisvegas born producer and singer has this progressive RnB sound that is reminiscent of something once heard on a cassette some time ago, combined with all the best parts of modern electronic infused beats.

‘Fire’ tells a pretty honest story of romance gone wrong, and the fire within. To emphasise this Squidgenini has created a seductive beat and bassline, bathed in her captivating vocals that edge between angelic and devilish.

Squidgenini may be very new to the game, but if this is the new direction for Aussie hip-hop, the genre should be gearing itself up for a full throttle rebirth. She combines a musicality that you can reminisce on past rendezvous’ to, while busting out some full sexy dance moves. Street dance themed movies of years gone by wish they had this for their soundtrack for every emotional love tryst scene.
