 Greyhat - Glider

Hailing from Portland in the US of A, GREYHAT, has released the track 'Glider' through Odesza’s Foreign Family Collective offering a sound that will have you both scratching your head and hitting repeat.

Describing Greyhat as a “producer’s producer” Odesza approached the beat maker to release something on Foreign Family Collective, as they specialise in curating works by both visual artists and visual artists alike showcasing unique artistic talent that blurs the lines between mainstream demand and underground cult.

Released through Red Bull, 'Glider' is a haunting blend of gritty texture, haunting melodies and jarring glitches that leave you bemused as to how Greyhat even managed to create the sound. 'Glider' is dark and futuristic, giving off a spacey vibe. It has a late night kind of feel with a consistent drive that feels kind of more like wake up than late groove. Confusing combinations perfectly fused.

Portland is known for its quirky creatives, needless to say growing up in such an environment, combined with what is obviously an innate producing genius, Greyhat was destined to create huge, headspace filling, sounds. There will be nothing ordinary coming from this guys work. It would be sensational to see a collab with the visual talents involved in Foreign Family Collective and experience some solid AV/DJ creations to accompany 'Glider'.
