Live Review: Cash+David 'Funn' (Daktyl Remix)

There are times when sweet musical goodness hits one's ears and the only reaction it calls for is a sit-up-straight and a wide-eyed proclamation of 'this is good - this is reeaaaal good'; this is that time. So, let's get you acquainted with DAKTYL's remix of 'Funn' by CASH+DAVID.

Though mystery surrounds the who or what makes up this CASH+DAVID duo - much like the meat at your local takeaway joint - this hasn't stopped the appreciation from swarming in for their brand of 'modern day antidote to the manufactured, pre-packaged status quo' (as nicely provided by their Facebook page).

Much like the anonymous pair work by their 'trans-genre' trait, fellow Briton DAKTYL is also one of diverse and multi-faceted skills when it comes to production-magic. Humming down the guitar fuzz and rock elements of the tune's origins, DAKTYL turns this piece of work into a euphoric, electronical state of super smooth synths and ethnic instrumentals. There's really nothing left to do now but to let this slinky sweet melody wash on over you.
