Daktyl & JJ Draper are 'Shiloh', Stream their 'Venus Sway' EP

Collaborations truly are a beautiful thing. The coming together of two artists who combine their talents to give birth to a musical lovechild, rife with the vibrancy that comes from drawing elements of two separate bodies of work and combining them as one.

So basically, what we can take from this is that the gift of musical life is very similar to the gift of human life, just significantly less messy. SHILOH is the collaborative project between two UK artists, electronic producer DAKTYL and singer / song writer JJ DRAPER from ARBOUR. The two have joined forces in creating a unique, futuristic sound laced with a sombre resonance. The five track EP 'Venus Sway' was released via Cosmonostro on the 30th of June, and while its contents is impressive, what's even more impressive is that it was completed in only a week.

The mellow vocals of JJ DRAPER compliment the eclectic beats that flow throughout 'Venus Sway'. Although each track is wholly different to the last, they are all connected by themes of the relationship with time and memories. The third track off the EP 'Morning' begins with misty, ethereal sounds before kicking into gear with trap influenced beats and mesmerising looped melodies.

SHILOH have produced the stuff dreams are made of with this one. Five tracks worth of blissful sound that never lose their charm.
