Foals Add Further Australian Tour Dates

FOALS have bumped their Australian tour to a seven-date run this September – the biggest we've seen from them yet! They've added second shows to Melbourne's Palace Theatre on Thursday, September 26 and Sydney's Enmore Theatre on Sunday, September 29. Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 7.

Limited tickets are still available in Perth and Adelaide, but not for long, as word begins to spread of FOALS’ frantic, nay, ferocious live shows in the wake of ARIA #1 album Holy Fire.

Ahead of hitting the road with Surfer Blood in tow for a mammoth North American tour, FOALS stormed the stage at Coachella and also appeared on US talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live. Front man Yannis Philippakis has set tongues wagging across the globe, with his vicious on-stage antics sparing none… not even the barman.

Joining Foals on the road will be indie protégé’s Alpine. With debut A is for Alpine under their belt (and a #1 on iTunes, no less) as well as a slew of accolade including an ARIA nomination for breakthrough artist, Alpine’s honeyed harmonies and hypnotic rhythms will be the perfect starter.

Currently touring the US and Canada for a series of headline shows, the Aussie 6-piece will be ready for some home-country love when they bring the much-adored Gasoline and Seeing Red to the stage.
