Bars Of Steel has existed since 2015, beginning as a freestyle studio series to highlight and help the careers of emerging talents. Artists who have benefited from the program in the past include Tasman Keith, Masked Wolf, JESSWAR, Kobie Dee, and Babyface Mal.

Last month, Becca Hatch landed on the Purple Sneakers’ Best New Music playlist with Think Of You.

She said about the track, “Think Of You is a song about the process of trying to forget a relationship that didn’t end well. Sometimes, when relationships end, even if you want to move on, it can be hard to let go of the connection you once had.

“Our real feelings seem to find ways to reveal themselves to us through small reminders in our life, like songs, places and people. While this process is painful, these reminders eventually teach us how important it is to love and put ourselves first.”
