It looks like there might be a new celebrity power couple in town, as Australian music sensation The Kid LAROI and Canadian star Tate McRae were spotted holding hands earlier this week.

Images of the pair were snapped as they left Michael Rubin's Fanatics Super Bowl Party, which was held at the Marquee Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas on 10 February. Tightly holding hands, McRae dons baggy jeans while The Kid LAROI wears cargo shorts, the pair looking comfy in sportswear. You can look at the images below.

Since the pictures were posted on social media, speculation about the pair dating has reached a new high – and this was weeks after McRae posted a snap wearing a long sleeve shirt people believed belonged to the Aussie rapper. He responded with a loving emoji on Instagram.

While they’ve never publicly commented about their relationship status, news.com.au reports that the pair have been spotted together partying in Mexico, amongst other instances of being seen together.

In December, McRae dropped her new album Think Later after announcing a 2024 Australian tour, following on from her 2022 appearance at Spin Off festival and a run of headline dates.

Produced by Ryan Tedder (Taylor Swift, Beyoncé), Think Later is said to be “steeped in pop appeal and infectious toplines” and showcases McRae’s “boundless vocal talent and evolution as a songwriter”.

Meanwhile, The Kid LAROI will tour Australia this October after postponing his tour that was supposed to take place this month, citing “impossible” logistical situations.

“We tried to make February work, but it’s proving to be logistically impossible,” he said on Instagram Stories. “I’m sorry to make you all wait a bit longer, but we will need to move the tour to October.

“We’re working on the details, including some new additions to the line-up and will let you know ASAP. I have a really big surprise and special guest that we just couldn’t finalise in time for February, among a bunch of other logistical stuff,” he explained.

“I wanna give you the best show that I possibly can and make everyone back home proud … I promise that it will be worth it, and I will keep you guys posted on the special guests and everything else that is to come.”

The tour arrives in support of the release of his debut album, THE FIRST TIME. In a glowing review for The Music, Claire Dunton wrote that LAROI “feels and sounds like a real, honest talent that you can’t help but back as an Australian” and “has perfectly executed the ever-popular ‘90s aesthetic”.
