Kali Uchis - Fue Major (feat. SZA)

Kali Uchis and SZA have dropped their sultry new remix of ‘fue mejor’, a standout single from Kali’s critically acclaimed 2020 album Sin Miedo. The album was Kali’s first to be made entirely in Spanish, and the new rework of ‘fue mejor’ features SZA singing in Spanish for the first time. The heavily anticipated collaboration showcases their dreamy, seductive vocals, while SZA’s verse fits seamlessly with Kali’s signature Latin R&B sound. The duo have also blessed us with a captivating music video with stunning visuals and steamy choreography which perfectly accompany the new remix.

Mahalia - Roadside (feat. AJ Tracey)

Two British powerhouses have come together on Mahalia’s new single ‘Roadside’ featuring AJ Tracey. The release follows Mahalia’s single ‘Whenever You’re Ready’ from earlier this year, coming off the back of plenty of critical acclaim for her debut album ‘Love and Compromise’, as well as her work in collaboration with artists like Pa Salieu and Headie One. ‘Roadside’ was written by Mahalia as she was fresh out of a breakup and the punchy accompanying video features her and AJ Tracey teaching heartbreakers a lesson as they leave them by the ‘roadside’.

Donatachi - Buttons

Electronic pop pioneer Donatachi has released their new high energy track, ‘Buttons’. With the track, they continue to build their genreless musical utopia, while pioneering and shifting the perceptions of what pop and electronic music is. The track is a turbo offering, combining a quick kick and minimal percussion with warm and euphoric synths and guitar lines. It’s a jumpy, donk influenced banger.

LÂLKA - Hold Me (feat. Evangeline)

Meeanjin/Brisbane-based producer-vocalist powerhouse LÂLKA today returns with her latest single, ‘Hold Me (feat. Evangeline)’. Alongside the release she’s announced the forthcoming release of her second EP, set for release on the 12th of November. The track evokes an eventful euphoria, one that promotes escapism, through its massive synths, shaking bass and digital, slamming percussion.

Alongside the release, the legacy act released the title track of the record, featuring indie-pop sibling duo Broods. The track is an uplifting house affair, combining gorgeous wobbly synths with Broods’ beautifully arranged vocals. ‘FOREVER’s rhythm section takes the cake though, with a thumping percussion line and rumbling bass line acting as the tracks beating heart.

Proud Butchulla man, Birdz is flying high today, as he is joined by Missy Higgins on his latest single ‘LEGACY part 2’, a track from his newly announced album LEGACY released Friday November 5th. Wiki has dropped his latest album, Half God, entirely produced by up and coming rapper/producer Navy Blue. the records sonic palette utilises looped, soulful and jazz influenced loops, above which Wiki tells intimate tales of his personal learning. Early standout on the tracklist is the Earl Sweatshirt contributed ‘All I Need’, a stunning, gritty and personal ode to rap's finest genre tropes.

Aotearoa based, Korean indie pop artist Hanbee released her debut EP, Meadow. Our early favourite of the tracklist is Buttercup, an enchanting, minimal, fun cut that channels a lullaby like, blissful melody.

Teezo Touchdown - I’m Just A Fan

Prolific and charismatic artist Teezo Touchdown has proven to be one of the most exciting and fascinating acts to emerge recently. A feature on Tyler The Creator's recent album CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST affirmed the talent and potential of the rising star. The new track ‘I’m just a fan’ accompanies a music video which acts as a tool to personify the fan culture. The track consists of woozy melodies to highlight the metaphor of fan culture and its dark sides involving one sided relationships and being taken advantage of.
