21 October 2021 | 5:09 pm | Parry Tritsiniotis

Kendrick Lamar fans have something to be excited about, with rumours circulating online that his followup to his 2017 released, DAMN.

It's been a long time between drinks for Kendrick Lamar. Featuring recently on his little cousin's project, 'The Melodic Blue' by Baby Keem, eyes have turned to Lamar to begin his album rollout cycle. Now, Kendrick Lamar fans have something to be excited about, with rumours circulating online that his followup to his 2017 released, DAMN will be released tomorrow, on the 22nd of October.

Numerous pieces of evidence point towards a Kendrick album tomorrow. Fans have pointed out that Kendrick Lamar's Spotify profile picture has been changed, as well as tomorrow (22nd) being the 9th anniversary of his debut, breakthrough record, 'good kid, m.A.A.d city'. Snippets of several unreleased Kendrick Lamar cuts have also been circulating on forums today, at least 6 of them. The main leak that fans are frothing over is 'Therapy Session #9' a less than one minute snippet that has gone viral on Kendrick and rap Twitter. Importantly, Kendrick Lamar is headlining Day N Vegas in just under a fortnight, which again suggests some sort of new music before then.

In August, the rapper took to his website revealing it would be the last on his current record label, Top Dawg Entertainment.

"As I produce my final TDE album, I feel joy to have been a part of such a cultural imprint after 17 years," said the award-winning emcee at the time. "The Struggles. The Success. And most importantly, the Brotherhood. May the Most High continue to use Top Dawg as a vessel for candid creators. As I continue to pursue my life’s calling. There’s beauty in completion. And always faith in the unknown."
