Over the past 2 years, HAAi has become one of Australia's brightest electronic dance exports. After moving to London from Australia to perform as a part psyche/shoegaze trio Dark Bells, she migrated towards electronic music. Since then, HAAi has established a sound that is so singular and unique, somewhere between the realms of atmospheric house and techno, that has landed her to the forefront of London's dance music scene. She's achieved the likes of an epic Boiler Room at AVA Festival, a two year residency at London's Phonox, as well as an early BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix of The Year. Now, following the release of her acclaimed 'Put Your Head Above the Parakeets' EP, she's released a dense and gorgeous new single, 'The Sun Made For A Soft Landing'.

'The Sun Made For A Soft Landing' is an esoteric exploration deep into the sonic territory of HAAi's inner creative world. Ambient energetic synths open the track, combining eventually with a breakbeat percussion run, and dark bass lines. As the track progresses, so does its overarching euphoria. The synths wave stronger, the bass line more repetitive, and as the track enters 6th gear, 4/4 drum patterns and gorgeous string sections combine elegantly, letting the track enter full rave mode.

Speaking on the track, HAAi says “The Sun Made For A Soft Landing is a gentle listen that was made when club music felt very dormant. It comes as part of a two sided single with both sides showing the night and day of the music I’ve been making lately.”
