Live Review: Eris Drew announces debut album 'Quivering in Time'

Underground dance icon Eris Drew gas announced her new album, Quivering in Time will be released on the 29th of October via T4T LUV NRG, the label she runs with partner Octo Octa. While she's world renowned as one of the worlds strongest tastemakers with her high energy, positive vibe DJ sets, Eris Drew is also a force to be reckoned with on the production front.

The album was created after Eris moved from her hometown of Chicago to rural New Hampshire. In New Hampshire she recorded the 9 tracks that make, 'Quivering Time'. The album is rumoured to feel somewhat like her well established incredible DJ sets, where she focusses on percussion heavy, melody inducing goodness. From stacked layers of vinyl samples and turntable manipulations serving as a fast-moving foundation for hand-played keyboard riffs as well as sampled and manipulated guitar tones.

The albums title track is out now. It features an absolutely whopping bass line, a clean and traditional breakbeat rhythm section and wobbly emotive melodies.
