Sudanese Australian rapper Big Skeez has combined with Trinidadian Australian rapper Gold Fang for new single, 'Where Yuh From'. The track is an ode to their respective areas on the outer fringes of Eora / Sydney, and that despite its misconceptions, the areas are thriving. The track is about embracing where you're from, your heritage and bringing those qualities to light. Over the past 5 years, Big Skeez has been making waves independently in Eora's underground rap scene, developing his sound to be distinguished as a multifaceted, genre bending, energy raising sonic landscape. 'Where Yuh From' is no different, bringing his collaborator Gold Fang well and truely into his distinct sound.

The track is clearly inspired by the likes of Pa Salieu, Burna Boy and Popcaan. Despite these obvious influences, a distinct personal feel and energy is presented. 'Where Yuh From's ragga riddim and slapping bass line combine perfectly with its electronic melodic sections. Vocally, both artists deservedly boast with their swag and personality fuelled deliveries, waving the flag for both the Caribbean and Sudan alike. They break down cultural barriers with their collaborations, as Gold Fang states, "for however long humans have existed on this earth, this is the first time a Sudanese and a Trinidadian have ever made a song together."

Big Skeez shares, "The song is about embracing where you’re from and being proud of where you’re from, and also coming together as one and make some changes." For Fang, "the lyrics mean everything as it represents my real life."

Alongside the release comes a slick music video shot by Sej Im, directed by Murli and features members of both Skeez and Fang's crew: Lil Spacely and his daughter Nini, Blaka, Korky Buchek, Danté Knows, Jaytee and Nubian Prince; all members of the rich tapestry of Eora / Sydney.
