DAWS drops 3 happy edits of Gwen Stefani, Janet Jackson and Britney Spears for charity

Naarm DJ, DAWS is growing her production catalogue into some very neat territories, now releasing a new series of hot club worthy edits, titled, ‘ADHD 001’. Despite the chaos of the world in the past year and a half, DAWS has remained relevant, and grown exponentially in hype during this period of time, dropping a splattering of releases, aswell as DJing on Area 3000 Radio, FBi Radio, Hope St Radio and Rinse FM, not to mention supporting DJ Boring, playing at Wide Open Space Festival as well as trading headphones with Toni Yotzi, Jennifer Loveless and heaps more.

She’s now turned to release a cheeky new EP, one that samples the likes of Gwen Stefani, Janet Jackson, Britney Spears. With the tracks she pays homage to their incredible songwriting abilities, all while transforming them into the world of DAWS that we’ve come to know and love. A world that is high energy, infectious, absolutely pounding, while still keeping a sense of lightheartedness and playfulness in her production. To make it even that sweeter, all proceeds from the project will be donated to Black Rainbow.

On the creation of the EP, DAWS stated, “ADHD 001 is bringing the 2000s back into 2021 ~ nostalgia inspired edits are all about keeping things fun, friendly, and this case; fast. This 3 track release is a nod to the producers and artists that have given us so much joy over the years and is intended to keep on giving in new ways. Acidic basslines, hefty percussive sequences, and classic vocal samples, let it take you somewhere new that feels familiar.”
