New Zealand based hidden gem Oliv is gearing up to release her glowing second single, ‘Too Much Love For You’. While the Oliv project is relatively fresh, she’s an already well established songwriting force. Via her previous project, NÏKA, she’s collaborated with the likes of BAYNK, Sachi and Flight Facilities. Now, she turns her focus to her solo career, one that has already been turning heads. Her debut uplifting single, ‘If You Find A Way To Heaven’ is an underrated intimate pop track, showcasing her incredible songwriting abilities. Now she turns her focus to ‘Too Much Love For You’, which is premiering right here, today!

Oliv is creating tunes with a personal brand of euphoric indie pop. ‘Too Much Love For You’ manifests her artistic vision perfectly. Between glittering synths, tension building percussion and her angelic vocals, sits an intricate navigation of human emotion. “It is a song about giving someone more love than you get in return and the aftermath of leaving that relationship without blaming yourself for its ending,” Oliv explains.

Alongside the single is a gorgeous music video, directed by Georgia Nott and Matt Clampitt. Behind the pastel lens a beachside, Brigerton-esque clip unfolds. She explores the setting in her own terms, flaunting pink puffed sleeves while tearing it up on a quad bike.

You can watch the video exclusively below before its official release tomorrow (Wednesday August 3rd).
