Boy Soda - LOVEU2BITS

Warrang Based, Central Coast bred singer and songwriter Boy Soda has released a new incredible single by way of ‘LOVEU2BITS’. His vocals are pristine on the track, gliding over the slowly strummed guitars and booming drum line. If this single is any indication, Boy Soda is about to be huge.

Royboy - Busy

ROYBOY, the anonymous Australian hip hop collective composed of poets, beatmakers and visual creators, today return with their new single 'Busy'. Royboy are an autonomous collective, whose sum of parts is greater than the individuals themselves. The collective operates on energy, utilising anonymity to liberate themselves from any preconceived notions or standards. The EDM infused single acts as an anthem for the homebody featuring rumbling bass lines and an infectious vocal delivery. 

Winston Surfshirt - All Of The Little Things (feat Ramirez)

Winston Surfshirt have today returned with surprise surprise, another incredibly feel good new single, ‘All Of The Little Things’ featuring Californian MC Ramirez. With 90s hip-hop and R&B as its main influence, the track is a summer daydream. A nostalgia fuelled backbeat features gorgeous synths and a head bob worthy bassline combining perfectly with Winston’s vocals and an additional smooth verse from Ramirez. 

Stevan - Hope It’s Not

Multi-instrumentalist, producer and artist Stevan showcases a whole new avenue in his repertoire with his new single, ‘Hope It’s Not’. On the track he turns to a chill pop sound, utilising Muffled guitar strums and gorgeous harmonies below his spacey vocal. Lyrically, the track includes themes of being scared of and simultaneously in search of real intimacy and love.

CHAII - Might Just (feat. Kings & eleven7four)

Multi faceted artist, CHAII returns today to share her newest single “Might Just” featuring fellow New Zealand-based rappers, Kings, eleven7four and producer Rory Noble. CHAII brings together the New Zealand rapper in great fashion with melodies and 808s acting as the tracks backdrop. CHAII says on “Might Just”, “I was in the studio with Rory Noble, Kings and eleven7four at a time where we were in and out of lockdowns. We were all in a similar mind space of how crazy the world is - and you never know what might just happen."

Alice Skye - Everything Is Great

Naarm-based Wergaia / Wemba Wemba songwriter and artist, Alice Skye, today unveils her hugely anticipated sophomore album, ‘I Feel Better But I Don’t Feel Good’. The record opens up the next chapter of her career, solldifying her as an incredibly diverse artist, with authenticity and emotion at the project's core. Our early favourite on the tracklist is ‘Everything Is Great’ a gritty indie rock number. 

First Beige - Sudden Weight (feat. Allysha Joy)

Brisbane/Meanjin based outfit First Beige have released another triumphant chapter in the bands ever evolving catalogue of infectious tunes, time time by way of ‘Sudden Weight’ with Allysha Joy (30/70). The track features jazzy undertones and prominent house grooves with its rhythm section stealing the show. Combine that with perfect vocal harmonising and a great feature, you’ve got another quintessentially feel good First Beige track.

Tommy Genesis - A Woman Is A God

Self-described ‘fetish rapper’ Tommy Genesis has today released a new single titled, ‘a woman is a god’. Alongside the release of the track she’s also announced her upcoming new LP, ‘goldilocks x’, which arrives September 10th. ‘a woman is a god’ is co-produced by famed house DJs The Martinez Brothers and its no surprise that sonically, the track is a perfect anthem for the re-opening of clubs globally. On it, she raps affirmation, ‘if a man is a man, then a woman — a woman is a god’. It’s a dark and minimal house tune, with its bouncy percussive undertones combining perfectly with Genesis’ laid back yet dominant vocal performance.

James Blake - Say What You Will

Today, GRAMMY® Award-winning UK singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer James Blake has announced his new album, Friends That Break Your Heart, due out on September the 10th. Alongside the announcement he has revealed the projects first single, ‘Say What You Will’. Of the single, James says, “The song is about finding peace with who you are and where you’re at regardless of how well other people seem to be doing. Comparison really is the thief of joy.”

Samm Henshaw - Grow

British-Nigerian R&B/Soul singer Samm Henshaw has released his latest single ‘Grow’, the sophomore single from his upcoming highly anticipated debut album ‘Untidy Soul’. ‘Grow’ is jam packed with feel good energy, optimism and soul. It’s a bouncy track that showcases introspection via the examination of happiness and personal growth.
