Chetch (Jack Miller) is a name you might begin to see more and more around Eora/Sydney in the next 12 months. He's a prominent figure of the scene, having committed to dance floors for years and is now taking it to the next level. He's a part of bourgeoning party crew, 'Clutch for Love', he hosts a weekly radio show on Bondi Beach Radio as 'Out Of The Bag', has featured on Of Leisure's compilation series, 'Blue Line Steppers', and has now started his own record label Top Shelf Dynasty.

Its first release is by the label manager himself, titled 'Earth Abounds'. We are lucky enough today to be premiering the main single from the project, 'Lucy'. 'This album is supposed to act as a soundtrack for someone exploring these depths of space,' says Miller of the projects creation. Sonically it lives up to this ethos. Spacey ambient moments mould perfectly with laid back club bass lines, they evoke a sense of euphoria, mindfulness and energy.

Reflecting on the sentiment behind 'Lucy', Chetch said, 'The track Lucy was written at the start of 2020, I was in Japan with my sister (Lucy) traveling through Tokyo. I was definitely influenced by the landscape there. It’s really beautiful, you have these futuristic cityscapes contrasted with traditional temples and shrines, super magical. While I was over there I decided to write a song for my sister. My sister is unbelievably caring and empathetic, so I wanted to create a song that felt like that, like someone you love giving you a hug.'

You can check out 'Lucy' exclusively below and grab the full project 'Earth Abounds' via the Top Shelf Dynasty Bandcamp tomorrow.
