Lovejoy are back in the physical space with their brand new party nightlifestyle, featuring doof stalwarts & up and coming USB wizards

Sydney party thowers and record releasers Lovejoy are back in the physical space with their brand new party nightlifestyle. It's lineup features a diverse range of selectors, spanning interstate doof stalwarts, up and coming USB wizards and a whole heap of local legends. It's all taking place at the iconic Bridge Hotel in Eora/Sydney at for a 12 hour, sunrise spanning session on June 11th-12th.

Heading the lineup, and setting the tone as the sun rises are Naarm/Melbourne favourites Wax'o Paradiso. Dubbed the Dimboola triangle of lost groove, Wax’o has popped up in floating rooftop gardens, luscious convents, shipping containers, train yards, supernatural amphitheatres and smack bang under the Sydney Harbour Bridge. They'll be trading headphones with Animalia label runner, and one of Australia's most profound DJ's in Kia. Our picks on the lineup are Dameeela and unpin, both growing names in underground dance, they'll be bringing their respected unique flavours and energy to nightlifestyle in a profound way.

On the curation of the event, Jack Colquhoun states, "Words can’t describe just how good it feels to be organising something again. It really feels like the dolphins have finally returned to Venice. Morgan & I spent so much of the last year fantasising & scheming about how we’d come back once we could, and The Bridge Hotel came up time & time again. We completely fell in love with Community Chest, as so many others did, and have been itching to try our hand with the venue ever since we first saw just how infectious that Courtyard is come morning. Our lineup for this one is by far our most ambitious yet too. These are artists that have caught our attention time & time again over the last year, and as much as we want to put on a stellar show, we’ve also selfishly booked them so we get to enjoy seeing them ourselves. I’m just as excited (if not more) as I hope everyone else is."

We’d like to recognise that this event, and all the work done in the organisation of it, takes place on stolen land. We want to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of this land - The Gadigal People of the Eora Nation. We'd like to pay our respect to Elders past, present and future, and hope that all the guests of the event do the same. Sovereignty has never been ceded. It always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.
