FBi Radio have this morning announced the appointment of a new Music Director and Head of Programming, introducing Reg Harris and Tanya Ali.

Sydney's leading community radio station FBi Radio have this morning announced the appointment of a new Music Director and Head of Programming, introducing Reg Harris and Tanya Ali to the respective roles. Having both been involved in the FBi and local music community for years, the duo take on two of the most prestigious and high pressure roles in Sydney music.

Tanya's contributions to FBi have spanned both as a volunteer broadcaster, working as the Executive Producer of Race Matters and previously hosting Monday Arvos as well as formally being Partnerships Manager at the station. On her excitement for the role, Tanya stated, "FBi has been a huge part of my life for such a long time – as a staff member, volunteer and first and foremost, as a listener. There's no station quite like it, and I could not be more honoured to play a part in fostering the next generation of radio-lovers, both behind the scenes and behind the mic. I'm excited to continue FBi's legacy of sounding as vibrant and multifaceted as the city we live in, and ensure we are doing the best job we can of representing the vast spread of communities we serve."

Reg returns to the FBi Radio office after two years working as the NSW Writer Services Representative at APRA AMCOS, having previously served as the station’s Music Assistant and presenting programs such as The Bridge and Shortwave. On his appointment, Reg stated "Sydney music is in a super exciting place and I feel very privileged to have been given the opportunity to help shape the sound of FBi Radio and shine a spotlight on the great music happening both at home and further afield!"
