Folamour taps SG Lewis for new single ‘Lost In Space’

Following on from the release of his upcoming album’s title track, ‘The Journey’, Folamour is today joined by UK disco-pop sensation SG Lewis for new single ‘Lost In Space’. The track acts as the third and final taste of the highly anticipated forthcoming album. It’s a welcome sonic turn for the viral DJ, recruiting one of the biggest cross over dance acts in the world to create a catchy groover ready for the DF.

Pairing SG Lewis’ distinct catchy vocals, with the familiar Folamour hip hop fused guitar riffs and strong chords progressions set the groovy tone for the track. It’s the perfect cross over between both worlds, ready to sit comfortably between pop and underground dance playlists globally. Inspired by times spent between airports, stages and career defining pressure and moments that are attached to being a year round touring DJ, this track and forthcoming album paints a very distinct autobiographical collection of Folamour’s happenings over the last two years. If this latest single tells us anything, it’s that he is ready to go to the next level, without limits on format or genre and the freedom to create dance music that simply makes people dance at will.

Speaking about the track with SG Lewis, Folamour explained, “I met SG Lewis at a party where we were both playing. I stayed in London for several days to record more vocals with him. It only took us a day to write the lyrics and put them into melody. Like me, he was familiar with this feeling of solitude with which we learn to live day by day, the absence of someone to share our sorrows and our tiredness, the emotions that run through us, but also our joys and our successes, trapped as we can sometimes be in this uninterrupted race between planes and concert halls.”
