Live Review: Jessie Ware shares new single 'Please', announces deluxe edition of 'What's Your Pleasure?'

Hot on the heels of releasing one of 2020's best, and most critically acclaimed records, Jessie Ware has announced there is new music on the way. Officially titled as ‘What’s Your Pleasure? The Platinum Pleasure Edition’, the deluxe edition release will be out June 11th and will include six additional songs on top of the original, adored tracklist. Plus, the good news doesn't stop there as Ware has also shared a brand new track today in the form of 'Please'.

Following in the same vein of dancefloor bliss we heard on songs like 'Save A Kiss', 'Soul Control' and 'Step Into My Life', 'Please' is an instant hit. Throwing right back to those thriving dancefloors of the 70s and 80s, it's a heady rush of dopamine and serotonin thanks to the pulsing bass, disco influences and glimmering synths. Ware's voice is sublime, full of optimism and warmth, and the subtle samples of live laughter make for an even more joyous affair. The perfect single for coming together once again and letting it all go even if only for a few moments, it's hard not to feel so damn good listening to this one!

Ware said of the deluxe edition release, “I had such an amazing response to the ‘What’s Your Pleasure?’ record that I didn’t want the lights to go up and the party to be over just yet! ‘Please’ is full of optimism and ready to be played in a place where we can all be together and flirt, dance, touch, and kiss. A wonderful excuse not to stop the party from ending.”

'What's Your Pleasure? The Platinum Pleasure Edition' will include 'Please', a remix of 'Adore You' via Endless we heard last year, a collaboration with Kindness and the 2018 standalone single 'Overtime'. Listen to 'Please' below:
